If you’re a beginner to yoga, you probably haven’t quite developed a preference to time of day for your practice. While yoga practice at any time is beneficial, did you know a regular morning yoga practice can boost your metabolism and leave your body feeling energized all day long? Morning yoga also boosts immunity by draining lymph nodes and improving your heart rate! This week, I’m sharing my Full Body Morning Yoga sequence. This sequence is beginner-friendly so I encourage you to start the habit of morning yoga early on in your practice to reap the benefits. It’s difficult to start the habit of a full-body morning yoga routine but with a little persistence, you’ll begin to look forward to it. Let’s jump into it!
This full-body morning yoga sequence is approximately 30 minutes long and is best done in the morning time.
- Yoga mat
- Yoga straps
This full-body morning yoga sequence is beginner-friendly but is also great for everyone.
- Silence your phone. The whole idea is to disconnect completely for a few minutes.
- Grab your yoga mat and props if needed
- Find a quiet space to set up. Preferably away from distractions and use the same spot each time for practice.
If you want something a little more challenging or have a shorter window for your morning yoga practice, check out my 15 minute morning routine as well.
Once you have completed the full body morning yoga or 15 min morning yoga sequences, we encourage you to sit silently for a few moments if you have time before starting your day.
