Did you know 80% of adults experience lower back pain at some point during their life? Causes for the pain can range anywhere from a minor strain to a full-on traumatic injury with many issues in between. Typically, pain medication is the first recommendation of treatment. The problem with this is that it only masks the problem for a short time, it does not solve the problem. It also creates a dependency on the medication for relief. This week, I’m bringing you another solution for lower back pain; Yoga! Yoga is a fantastic option for pain relief as it can offer instant relief as well as solving the issue completely with long-term, consistent practice. Prevention is always better than cure when it comes to yoga for your lower back, so this sequence is great for everyone. Not just those of us who struggle with lower back pain.
