We’re Hiring: Social Media & Visual Content Creator for Aham Yoga, BollyWorks & Arundhati’s Personal Brand

by Arundhati Baitmangalkar

Over the past 12 years, Aham Yoga and BollyWorks have grown into two deeply loved, community-centred movement spaces in Redmond. Alongside them, my personal brand as a yoga educator, podcast host, and creative entrepreneur continues to expand globally.

As our work evolves, we’re seeking a Social Media & Visual Content Creator who can bring all three brands to life through thoughtful, clean, modern design. This role is perfect for someone who loves visual storytelling, works well independently, and enjoys translating a clear vision into beautiful, impactful digital content.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), read on.

About the Role

This is a part-time, hourly position starting at around 4 hours per week, with scope to grow—especially during launch seasons (teacher trainings, courses, performances, and event announcements).

Your primary responsibility is simple:

Turn ideas, text, and concepts into visually stunning content across social media and branded materials.

You won’t be asked to write long captions or work inside Kartra. This role is all about design execution, consistency, and storytelling through visuals.

What You’ll Create

Instagram Content

For Aham Yoga, BollyWorks, and Arundhati’s professional profile, you will design:

  • Static posts
  • Carousels
  • Reel visuals (text overlays, frames, and cover images)
  • Story templates and story sets

Everything must reflect each brand’s tone:

  • Aham Yoga: warm, grounded, educational, minimal
  • BollyWorks: bold, vibrant, energetic, community-driven
  • Arundhati: thoughtful, expert, behind-the-scenes, authentic

You will execute the visual direction based on Arundhati’s voice and creative vision.

Brand Assets

You’ll also design:

  • PDF downloads
  • Lead magnets and freebies
  • Yoga manuals (layout and design)
  • PowerPoint / Canva slide decks
  • General studio or event visual assets

Visual clarity, consistent formatting, and aesthetic harmony across materials is essential.

Tools You’ll Use

  • Canva Pro
  • Trello for task management
  • WhatsApp for communication
  • Google Drive for file organisation

What This Role Does Not Include

To keep expectations clear, this role does not involve:

  • Writing captions or long-form copy
  • Managing Kartra pages or funnels
  • Running paid ads
  • Heavy community engagement (DM management is minimal)

Your superpower here is visual design, not content writing or tech funnels.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a strong candidate if you:

  • Have excellent Canva design skills
  • Can take a rough idea or text and turn it into a polished visual
  • Enjoy creating carousels, templates, reels, PDFs, and presentations
  • Understand spacing, hierarchy, and clean design principles
  • Work reliably and independently
  • Appreciate constructive feedback and iteration
  • Are organised, timely, and detail-driven

No yoga or dance background required.
Passion for good design is essential.

Hours & Compensation

  • Approx. 4 hours per week to start
  • Additional hours during launch phases
  • Hourly role, compensation discussed during the first round

How to Apply

Email the following to admin@ahamyoga.com:
